                          The Chiltern Artist Society

The newly formed Chiltern Artist Society meets in the shop-front gallery on Wednesdays from 11am(ish) until all the coffee and chocolate biscuits are gone.

A small group of artists from the Chiltern township, headed by founding member Quentin Bell, got together in early 2011 and began to meet informally to paint, draw, make and exchange ideas. Now accompanied by writers and poets, this ecclectic little group is steadily growing in numbers and has plans to exhibit work collectively later in 2011.

In the warmer weather you will find them working and socialising around the township or lazily discussing art and their creative dreams in the small courtyard at the rear of  Meaghan Louise's Studio.
